NOTE: All pics are taken from the autor of the guide, 꺼마요정(roal****). To much affort would be needed to take the same pics by myself. I edited them to mark the important things you have to look for.

This is no word-to-word translation, I’m using my own words. Nonetheless this guide is made by 꺼마요정(roal****), nothing is done by myself. I leave out most of the theoretical parts because I don’t completely understand them.

NOTE 2: Legendary Items and the different Rings have always the same inscriptions (eg the blue ring has always active shield + passive def up), only the inscription level is different/random.

Here you find the inscriptions of Rita for non-legendary armor parts.

 

Summary

Shield Tanker:

  • Legendary Gloves (high active)
  • Blue Ring (high active)
  • other armor part inscription: 3 parts passive HP up OR 1 part passive defense up + 2 parts passive HP up

HP Recovery Tanker:

  • Legendary Armor (active level 4~6)
  • Legendary Gloves (low active, high passive)
  • Blue Ring (low active, high passive)
  • other armor part inscriptions: 1 part passive HP up + 1 part passive defense up

Hybrid Tanker:

  • same as HP Recovery Tanker, only Blue Ring active should have level 4~6

Debuff-Off Supporter:

  • no Legendary Items
  • White Ring (high active)
  • other armor part inscriptions: 1 part passive defense up + 3 parts passive HP up OR just 4 parts passive HP up

HP Recovery Damage Dealer:

  • Legendary Armor (high active)
  • Green Ring (low active, high passive)
  • other armor part inscriptions: 1 part passive defense up + 2 parts passive HP up OR just 3 parts passive HP up

General Knowledge

  • Armor: there are 2 passive inscriptions (HP up, Def up), the rest are active effects (chance to trigger when getting hitted).
  • the active Legendary Effect of the armor ring has a 10% chance to trigger when the hero gets a hit (so it triggers 100% if you get ~10 hits)
  • only 1 active inscription of a hero can be triggered per turn (armor and ring inscriptions share the same trigger, so only ONE active inscription can trigger) I have to test if armor and rings share the same trigger, I’m not sure about this translation
  • so besides HP recovery and shield the better armor inscriptions are passive (def up and hp up), no active inscription! (~> trigger problem I tried to explain)

 

Armor & Ring inscriptions, Legendary Equip Combinations


1. Tank Shield Setup

This Tanker only relies on Shield by gloves and ring.

Pros:

  • Great tanking ability, he dies rarely.

Cons:

  • Shield triggers very fast, most times after 1st or 2nd hit. Shield absorbs dmg and the enemies’ hits just miss, so you gain less fury.
  • because of no HP recovery inscriptions a healer is essential

Recommended if you want to do hard mode, if you have a healer and use 2 or 3 tanker combinations.

The two items you need are the ring “Memories of Serisa” and the legendary gauntlets “Hands of Atlas”. The other armor parts should be inscripted with passive HP up or passive Defense up. Recommended:  3 parts HP up OR 1 part Defense up + 2 parts HP

2. Tank HP Recovery Setup

A Tanker who uses HP Recovery inscriptions besides Shield. (It may look like a shield tanker copy but it really works.)

Pros:

  • Unlike Shield Setup you get full amount of fury when enemies attack.
  • When Tank gets attacked he can also protect backlines (HP Recovery Inscription is a cross heal).
  • Self-recovery is high, it is even possible to full heal. The Inscription also stacks (if HP Recovery triggers by another hero).

Cons:

  • Can’t stand a lot of hits if HP Recovery triggers on first hit.

Recommended combination: if you have sturdy tanks use 4x Hp recovery, if not use 3 and combine (or something like that, just try around what is the best for your setup)

This combination works best for Tankers who are attacked a lot (my guild should remember the white beast issue… “oh white beast is down” – “hey white beast dead again” – “dafuq does he draw passive emnity or why is he focus???” lol)

It is recommended to use HP Recovery Inscription lvl 4~6, so you have a good hp recovery and it doesn’t trigger too fast.

K-11 K-12

You could also use a Armor + HP recovery ring, but cause of the active trigger limitation it is not wise to do so. It’s better to use Serisa’s ring with low shield inscription and high passive def inscription.
On the other hand – if your tanking is good enough even without Serisa’s you can switch to HP recovery ring (fighting spirit, the red ring, look for the first inscription lvl to be high if you wanna try, 2nd inscription is passive and increases str).

Remaining equipment parts (shoes and helm) recommendation: 1 part passive HP up + 1 part passive defense up.

3. Tank Hybrid Setup

Not much to say, it’s the same as HP Recovery Setup, only Serisa’s Ring Shield Inscription has a higher level (also 4~6), so it’s even more random if shield or HP recovery triggers.

This Tanker is weaker than the Shield Tanker, still recommended to mix the tanker combinations (4 tanker setup: 2 shield tanks + 2 HP recovery tanks OR 1 HP recovery tank + 3 shield tanks).

4. Supporters Debuff Off Setup

Leave out all legendary items and active inscriptions, use only the “Fragments Of Dreams” ring.

Pros:

  • When “turn off debuffs” and “immunity against stun/silence/bewitch” triggers it allows you to use skills next turn.

Cons:

  • Doesn’t have any HP Recovery or active Defenses.

Heroes who count as supporters: Debuffs-off (Amos, Super Sojin, Tanui…), recovery (Yuri, Nosferatu, Ereina…), less fury costs buffer (Alhena, Super Hyeri, …) etc.

“Fragments Of Dreams” ring is essential. The higher the active inscription level the higher is the trigger chance.

If you have much probs with dying use Hands of Atlas (low shield inscription, high def inscription, see Tank HP Recovery Setup for a pic) for getting more passive def.

Recommended inscriptions: 1 part passive Defense up + 3 parts passive HP up OR just 4 parts passive HP up

5. Damage Dealer HP Recovery Setup

He doesn’t have to endure as much hits as tanks, so it’s not a problem to give him a legendary armor.

DDs like Amos are also working with this, as long as you don’t wanna set the focus on their debuff-off, recovery, fury cost reduction buff, whatever.

For pic see Tank HP Recovery Setup armor. High passive HP isn’t as important as a high recovery inscription level (so it triggers better).

A good ring is a low lvl active and a high lvl passive. The passive increases your agi stat. The active inscription increases your critical chance for 1 turn, but it’s not good cause you want to trigger HP recovery if you get hit.

If your DDs are dying too much try around with Serisa’s ring (high passive for def, low active) and Hands of Atlas (high passive for def, low active). Try to avoid the gloves, cause gloves increase your crit. If you use legendary gloves you have a worse crit than using lvl 110 gloves.

That’s not the end of the guide, but of the different setups. It will follow a translation of the legend items, if you should get the lvl 1 or lvl 2 ring box and some general tips.
